This is what remains of building No, * of the RCA Victor Company near Camden’s water front. When I worked for RCA back then this building housed our "Family Store" showroom where we bought all kinds of RCA home entertainment electronics like the ill-fated Video Disc player and the real cool Dimensia System. We got these things on payroll deduction, so it was not unusual for employees to get a boatload of goodies with a small weekly payment that stretched for many, many months. I know I did. Also this building housed the payroll department as well as other departments.
This building will soon become the newest condo on the Camden waterfront.
